When you come to volunteer at Colobus Conservation in Kenya, you can book your flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi or fly into Moi International Airport in Mombasa.
From Mombasa, Colobus Conservation will organise for a taxi to meet you at the airport to drive you to Diani. The trip should take about an hour, and involves a ferry crossing. The ferry is a drive-on type so you don't need to get out of the taxi for this. We organise payment to the taxi driver and tipping is not expected.
From Nairobi, you can fly straight to Ukunda airstrip which is only ten minutes from our offices. We will pick you up from there in our Colobus Conservation vehicle. Airlines for the connecting flight that flies directly to Ukunda from Nairobi are Safarilink and Air Kenya.
Alternatively, from Niarobi you can take the overnight train to Mombasa. This really is an experience. Check your travel guide book for more information.
From the train station in Mombasa, take a taxi to Diani and follow the directions to our offices from our map [Location Map].
